Creating opportunities that go beyond the workplace.
At Ellenni & Co, our mission is to empower young people with disabilities by giving them the confidence, skills, and real-world experience they need to thrive. One of the most inspiring examples of this is our ongoing partnership with Satori Hair Salon.
When Satori opened their Essendon salon, we were right there — not just cheering them on, but actively helping to bring their vision to life. Our participants painted walls, laid floors, built and sanded workstations, and contributed their time and energy to help create the welcoming, beautiful space that clients enjoy today.
The collaboration didn’t stop there. Our participants continue to visit the salon, taking part in day-to-day activities like sweeping hair, cleaning windows, and even styling each other’s hair — all while developing practical skills, building confidence, and learning in a supportive environment.
Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to work alongside Satori on developing a dedicated salon assistant pathway, tailored to each individual’s strengths and passions.
This partnership is proof that when businesses open their doors to inclusion, everyone wins — the community, the industry, and most importantly, the individuals finding their place within it.

Harrison’s Laneway is a giftware and flower shop that showcases products made by young people with a disability to build skills and capacity in community.
At Essendon Baptist Community Church, we’re all about getting to know Jesus better, being transformed by his love and grace, and positively impacting our world.
As we connect together and focus on Jesus, we find answers to life’s big questions, healing of our hurts, and strength to deal with the ups and downs of life.
Empowering young individuals with special needs through practical, hands-on programs.
